Custom Motocross Party kit

I was referred to Larisa from Betsy at Bellyfeathers.com to do this custom motocross party kit. Betsy had such nice things to say about me. I really appreciated it. Larisa already had the invitation, so I just matched everything to that. I hope to get pictures of her party to share with all of you. Since I don't have an etsy shop I usually just do local business, but this is my second party this month I have done with people I don't know that I have met from my blog. Larisa is from California! Hope her son Jake has a great 5th birthday!!!

Update: I thought it was spelled "motoRcross" instead of "motocross" so, I had to redo 30 Thank you favor tags after I took this picture below. Thankfully, I found my mistake before I sent them. Who knew? Am I a big ole dumb dumb or did you think it was called motorcross too?

Dr Seuss and ABC's Party

I love anything to do with Dr. Seuss! I came across this Awesome party that I wanted to share from nesting instincts. I love all the details. How fun for a baby shower or little girl/boy birthday! I've seen many Dr. Seuss parties but they can be over the top and cluttered (which is very Dr. Seuss) but I just love how clean and simple, well not simple to do, but simple to the eye! Love it all!

The 4th of July is right around the corner. Start your preparations now by making some of these DIY elements for your patriotic-themed party:

- Patriotic fans

- Fabric flatware and napkin holder

- Red, white and blue sand candles

- Patriotic drink umbrellas

- Red, white & blue patterned cans (could hold food, flowers, utensils, etc)

- Flag cookies

Supplies/Ingredients:

* Crispy rice treats

* Airheads Cherry bars

* Airheads White Mystery bars

* Airheads Blue Raspberry bars

* Small kitchen knife or scissors

* Small star-shaped cookie cutter (optional)

Directions:

1. Cut crispy rice treats into rectangles

2. Cut part of an Airheads® Blue Raspberry bar to make the upper blue corner of the flag.

3. Cut alternating strips of Airheads® Cherry and White Mystery to make the flag’s stripes. Arrange pieces on crispy rice treat. Trim to fit.

4. Using either a star-shaped cookie cutter, or by hand, cut out a star shape from an Airheads® White Mystery bar. Place star on the blue square.

5. Pack into kids lunchboxes or keep them for a great snack at home.

Tip: If Airheads are hard to cut, take them out of their wrappers and place them on a microwave-safe plate. Warm them slightly in the microwave on Low for 10 seconds.
