The NEA honors Dr. Seuss's birthday by urging adults to read to kids on March 2. More than 45 million children and adults are expected to participate in Read Across America this year.
In honor of Dr. Seuss's Birthday, I thought I would show the wreath I made (again) for a teacher at the beginning of the school year. Her whole classroom is done with Dr. Seuss books as the inspiration. Today, I helped another teacher, my Best Friend with fun creative projects she will be doing all week with her kids. She lives in New Orleans and works in a charter school with 2nd graders. They are going to have a great week!
I love Dr. Seuss and all of his wonderful quotes! My favorite:
"Today you are you, that is truer than true.
There is no one alive that is youer than you!"- Dr. Seuss
so cute!
