Sneak Peak: Rainbow Art Party! Emmy's 5th Birthday!

I have to say, I am seriously wondering if I pushed a secret button that doesn't allow comments to show up any more? I know I took off from blogging for a while and maybe everyone has left ole' blogger behind and never check their google reader or drop by the blog these days, but I used to get comments and I really miss you guys! I'm bad about leaving comments on a lot of blogs I visit, so I totally get it. If you are out there, let me know you caught this little sneak peak and what you think. Thanks in advance for stopping by!

This is my daughter's 5th Birthday Party. I loved so many things about this pARTy! I'm not a primary color kind of girl, but throw in a little pink, mixed patterns, how fun and HAPPY! Here are a few pics until I can finish the whole post. I mean, I fell in love at first site with the rainbow chevron print!
First up is the invite:

Next up, before I share my professional pics, I'll just share some of my favorite instagram photos I took along the way during preparations. It's just something about that square picture with a little filter!
Why didn't I think of that?

I made each kid a apron and iron on names for each. Easy Peasy!

I can't wait to share all the info on this big canvas of my little artist! LOVE IT!

Check back next week for the full post! Hey, don't forget to leave me a comment or a link to a party you just finished and want to share.

I'ts a Hoot! Owl Party kit

I love this theme! I made this custom kit for a sweet little girl. It doesn't have all the items that come in a kit, but she added a few custom items like the matching onesie and the pin wheel cupcake toppers. That is the fun thing about my kits, you can special order whatever you need. If my kit for 12 doesn't work for you, let me know what does. How cute would this be with wood tree trunk pieces for cake stands and props and a mix of rustic elements.

Don't you just love the colors? Does we don't want you to miss a HOOT even make sense? I'm not sure! All ordering info is on the side bar top left. Still working to get this blog updated not just with material but also up to date with the times. It's stuck in the Blogger circa 2005! Please leave a comment and let me know if I'm reaching anyone these days! :)

LEGO Party!

I did this party a while ago. I did it all... from the planning, to the shopping, to the styling, I stayed for the party and cleaned it all up. It's one of the last parties I planned that way. I tend to not seek help or use too many vendors. I "think" I can do it all. Those days have gone. I will do a few large parties a year, but I am now just focusing my time on getting the party kits done and mailed out! I did have the cookies made by my local cookie girl and the cake was made here locally by someone the Mom uses often. It was held at Art Space Downtown Shreveport.  Lots of color and a lot of LEGOS! It was a great time and I learned a lot about what I can handle or what I want to handle. I will be back soon with the Party kit Post and I will also offer it in a Printable kit option. Enjoy!

Wizard of Oz Party & Parisian Party

I am so behind I thought I would put the last two birthday Parties I did for this sweet girl together in one. Her Mom is and old friend of mine from High School. We both love parties and she has been one of my greatest supporters from the very beginning. I did Emma's Sweet Shoppe 3 year old party also. The last two years I only did a few custom made items to go along with printable kits she already had both years from The Tom Kat Studio. Wizard of Oz is just the best! So many cute ideas to use and the Parisian theme is so girly and a I just love black and white damask. Here are a few photos from each party. I would love to add more to each of these kits, so I hope I get another order for a full kit or even a printable so I can finally finish the full designs. I hope you enjoy!
