Sneak Peak: Rainbow Art Party! Emmy's 5th Birthday!

I have to say, I am seriously wondering if I pushed a secret button that doesn't allow comments to show up any more? I know I took off from blogging for a while and maybe everyone has left ole' blogger behind and never check their google reader or drop by the blog these days, but I used to get comments and I really miss you guys! I'm bad about leaving comments on a lot of blogs I visit, so I totally get it. If you are out there, let me know you caught this little sneak peak and what you think. Thanks in advance for stopping by!

This is my daughter's 5th Birthday Party. I loved so many things about this pARTy! I'm not a primary color kind of girl, but throw in a little pink, mixed patterns, how fun and HAPPY! Here are a few pics until I can finish the whole post. I mean, I fell in love at first site with the rainbow chevron print!
First up is the invite:

Next up, before I share my professional pics, I'll just share some of my favorite instagram photos I took along the way during preparations. It's just something about that square picture with a little filter!
Why didn't I think of that?

I made each kid a apron and iron on names for each. Easy Peasy!

I can't wait to share all the info on this big canvas of my little artist! LOVE IT!

Check back next week for the full post! Hey, don't forget to leave me a comment or a link to a party you just finished and want to share.

  1. Someone told me they tried to comment and it didn't show up. So, I'm going to try and see WHERE ARE THEY GOING?

  7. I always put the main table against the fence which every year is hard to photograph because it's in the sun the longest. I'll never learn and my pictures of the main tables never come out very good. Full of shadows! drawstring carrier bags

  8. So Cute! I am having an art party for my step-daughter in December. We will have a Paint the Canvas and I was wondering, should I pre-paint the canvases prior to the party?
