Valentines Party!

The party was a big hit! It was a lot of work and I was pooped when it was over. My little one ended up running around in the back yard most of the time and then joined in the end to make us some cards with glitter pen blobs all over it and a few stickers. Speaking of glitter... remind me not to have that available next time. There is glitter from one end of my house to the other.
Fun had by all!

I had plans to wrap my cupcakes with liners I made, but here we are with those paper liners that start out so pretty and end up looking like this~ ugh! I made these cupcake toppers that match my labels and banner
Listen, of all things I am... I never said I was a baker. These were kinda cuter in real life.

the cups were really cute. I made these little "be my valentine" tags at the last minute and added these heart marshmallows for a little sweet touch. Oh, and don't forget the extra sugar around the rim.

Our craft table was very girly. Full of all stuff needed to make things pretty!

Centerpiece and craft supplies all on a lazy suzan I painted pink. It made things easy to share.
dum dum topiary, I used for her Circus party. I just recovered the box for Christmas and now for Valentines. I've had to refill lots of missing dum dums. Wonder who keeps stealing them???

More sneak peak Valentines Party

Small candy buffet... I am having more sweets on the table so I didn't go too overboard with the candy (I wanted to but had to stop myself).
Labels I made that match my "i love you" banner and cupcake toppers
ok, so a few things on my candy buffet aren't edible. Oh well, they are pretties!

my cupcake toppers
i got these mini lights in the $2.50 section at target. I didn't like all the white wires so I covered them with ribbons and extra fabric I had.
cute!

These plates from Target are cute enough, but I added vinyl words to them. They are in my hutch and you can't really see them. Maybe, this was not needed but I thought it was a cute idea. hmmm!

I

I bought thes doilies at the Dollar General and used a roll of $1 ribbon, I know it's simple and boring but I like how simple and boring and EASY it is!

Here is a peak at one of the crafts we are doing. We are going to paint/decorate a picture frame, dum dum topiary (teacher's gift?), decorate cards for Mom and Dad and decorate cupcakes!

Valentines crafting party for kids

I thought this was going to be a cute little inexpensive party, but my OCD and shopping disorder is really costing me. It's Friday today and Emmy's at MDO, I should be sewing or cleaning but instead I'm crafting, sitting on the computer, and trying to get these invitations sent. I'm loving Valentines though and I know we are gonna have some fun making crafts and eating lots of sweets.
I have a lot more pictures to come of some things I'm working on.
Here is the invitation, simple but cute...I think?

I love you banner I made with my Target $$$ bin papers

$$$ bin LOVE sticker made my candle happy!
